Trying out the integrated blogging feature in Flock

Posted in Geek by Felius on the June 25th, 2006

I’ve been trying out Flock for a few days now.  It’s a new web browser based on the Firefox codebase.  Well, parts of it, at least - but so far it feels similar enough that you’d almost call it a fork.  Here’s the Flock blurb:

Flock is a free, easy-to-use web browser built on fast and secure Mozilla technologies. Share photos, get your news, blog freely, and search your world with Flock. Flock makes it easier than ever for you to connect with your friends. Download the first beta and let us know what you think.

So far my impression is that I like the way it handles RSS feeds.  Otherwise, I haven’t seen much difference.  I’m using the integrated blogging functionality for the first time now.  It also has del.icio.us and flickr integration, which sounds like a great idea except that I’ve never bothered to get an account with either service.
